Hey everyone! My name is Lea, I am 20 years old. I love books, mostly YA. Books are literally my addiction, I admit I do have a problem lol but it's a great problem!

March Wrap Up

So I read only 4 books in March... I know I know, but technically it was 5. I started A Game of Thrones, and only have like less than 300 pages left that will be done here soon. But for the four that I finished....here they are;

1)Slide by Jill Hathaway- Great book, I highly recommend this book, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the sequel!

2) Cinder by Marissa Meyer- I enjoyed it but not as much as how every one raved about it, I am hoping that the next two books are better, I heard they are so yeah!

3) Legacy Code by Autumn Kalquist- I received this as an ARC it is out now, I really enjoyed it for a new upcoming Author she did a really great job with this book, I can not wait to receive the second book since it leaves off kinda in a cliff hanger!!!!!!!! There is a giveaway on goodreads for this book so you should enter!  Right now it is FREE on amazon!

4) The Practice Date by Victorine E. Lieske- Cute little YA romance, I enjoyed it, I needed a short read and this was perfect. It is also FREE on amazon along with another of her books, The Truth Comes Out, I am actually going to see how that one is soon!

So that was my March Wrap out & don't forget I did read 500+ pages of Game Of Thrones so I did not slack so much!!!!!! What did you read in March I would love to know? Have any of you read these???? Leave comments below!

Help!

Going to the book store today!

I am in the mood for contemporary so what are some great reads?!

Cinder

At first this book dragged for me and I just wasn't so sure about it. I was like why is everyone raving about this book, but then it finally picked up and I could just not put it down. I love the Cyborg Cinderella feel. The story was great, I know it was suppose to be like a Cinderella futuristic book, but it still had its own story. I enjoyed, and I do have the next two books Scarlet & Cress, and I do look forward to reading those. I hope they are a lot better, I heard they were so we'll see!

Video

Gah!!!!!!!!! Seriously can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Video

I seriously need to go out & get this book like today, I can not wait to see the movie! I love Daniel O'Brian!!!!

The Practice Date

I really enjoyed this Novelette, it was really cute, and a great happy ending. I would recommend this especially if you enjoy young adult romance & need a quick read!

The Legacy Code

I got the pleasure of receiving this ARC kindle edition in exchange for an honest review. (Book was released March 9th-16th.) So here it is;

This book! I really actually enjoyed it. Its very quick only 200 or pages but its wow. I was not expecting the ending what so ever, it just blew me away. The only thing I had a problem with was I felt I was missing a prequel about the world, like I felt when the characters were talking about certain things I felt I should of known what was going on, but maybe thats because the Author has future plans for that, I don't know. What I do know is I want a physical copy of this & hope I can also be able to have the pleasure of reading the ARC sequel when it is finished! I would recommended this book if you are into dytopian/SciFi. In fact this book is actually in the giveaways right now for 2 copies so if I was you & you were interested go give it a shot!

The last humans fled a dying Earth 300 years ago, but there was something they couldn’t leave behind: The Legacy Code. Which is a "gene" defect that causes the baby to not develop right, so they automatically abort them. Era is a 17 year old who is finding out if her baby has the defect, but things happen that distract her from finding out right away, she is growing attached to the "baby" so she is trying to figure out if the fleet is hiding something or if the defect is what they say it is. Thats all im going to say, I really don't want to give any spoilers!

Thank you Autumn Kalquist for letting me review this! You did an awesome job!

Slide

I could not put this book down! It was awesome. I needed to know more after ever chapter and then now that I am at the end, I need the sequel Impostor! The characters were great, the suspense threw the whole book was crazy, & the ending was just wow! Lots of drama, and figuring out the whole story. I loved what Jill Hathaway did with this story and like I said I look forward to the next book, I already read the first chapter and now I am wanting to go order the next one! A must read!!!!
The Fault in our Stars

Well this book was just amazingly beautiful. I had put this book off for so long because I knew it was about two cancer patients & their love story, and at the time my friend Lyndsey was battling cancer since she was 3 until this year in February at 19 she passed away. I was so down, she was my inspiration and I was just so lost. I was going to get rid of this book, I did not want to read it after that, but something inside me made me pick it up just after a few weeks of her passing, and I read it.. all of it. And at times it made me think of her beautiful soul and the humor she had, she would of understood this book probably more than any of us. Her humor was just like the Characters Gus & Hazel. I really enjoyed this book, and I think this book might have a special spot in my heart forever. Yes I did cry the last like 5 chapters and probably worse than others because of the timing, but it was just sooooooooo beautiful! Definitely read this book! The movie comes out June 6th of this year!!!!

Shatter Me

I loved this book so much, I think I read it only in like 3 days and that was because I had distractions, I could of totally had this done in one day. I was so captivated by the story. I love the characters, although I am a little iffy about Warner. I really can not wait to read Unravel Me, but I am waiting for my Unite Me to come in so I can read Warner's view for Shatter Me, then I will be reading Unravel me, It likes sitting on my shelf and I keep wanting to pick it up, its taking everything in me not to lol. Then I'm sure I am going to want Ignite me right away after that lol. Anyways this book was just everything I wanted, dystopian, quick page turner, did not want to put it down, a little romance. I just highly recommend reading this if you haven't, but I am pretty sure almost everyone has! Damn, Just writing and thinking about it, makes me want to pick up Unravel Me right now...sigh book problems!

Lips Touch; Three Times

Uh, I really do not know what to say about this book... Honestly I hated it. The first story was interesting but I thought it left me off like in the middle of the story, like I was missing the rest of the book. The other two stories, I totally just no, not me I guess. I saw reviews on this that were awesome, and a few people that I watch on Youtube raved about it, and I am pretty sure I am like the only one that truly did not enjoy this. The only good thing I can really say about it, is it had great Illustrations.

but that's about it for me, sorry if you did enjoy these three short stories, its just my opinion.

Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children

When I saw this book, I knew I was getting myself into something very strange. This book is very unique, and yes very PECULIAR, but I really enjoyed it surprisingly! I think Ransom Riggs did a fantastic job on this book(going to be trilogy? series?) As a young adult author he brought something no one else really has. To write a series from strange weird photos was brilliant and some serious skills. I would recommend this book, so if you haven't read it, you really should. Don't let its strangeness appearance & not enough description on the back fool you!  I still have not read the sequel Hollow City yet, but I do have it and probably will read it soon!
